About Me

When you read stories about why different people got into photography it is often a big event in their lives that prompted them to pick up a camera and start clicking away, I am no different.  When I was in high school I took tons of pictures with my friends and even took a few photo class (I have the albums to prove it), but my true love for photography didn't start until 2014 when I separated from my ex-husband. I needed an outlet for my creativity and anger so I picked up my camera and haven't stopped since.

I love anything that has to do with the beach and often my pictures are taken either on the beach or near water.  Because of this I have developed a love for underwater photography.

Since I am a teacher I often don't get to practice as much as I would like during the school year, but over the summers I watch 6 great kids that are often willing subjects.

Currently I am working on a 365 project, it is not always easy and I am often behind.  When looking back at the pictures I took in the beginning and the pictures I am taking now I have seen how much I have grown.
